Attorney General Eric Holder to Announce Sentencing Reform on Drug Charges

 

The head of the Department of Justice Eric Holder, may as soon as next week announce drastic changes on the drug laws in the United States.  This will be the first major reform since the crack epidemic of the 1980's.

Eric Holder said, "the drug wars are now 30,40 years old."  He said, "there have been a lot of unintended consequences.  There has been decimation of certain communities, in particular communities of color." 

 

He realized that the war on drugs is a war on black people and people of color and it is destroying our communities and our youth and it is a time for change. Listen for yourself.  The Obama Administration has recognize that the current drug laws are discriminatory., according to NPR (National Public Radio) a reliable source.
